Weather and Climate
These services offer information on weather and climate in general, and more specifically on research results concerning the climate of north-western Morocco. Weather and climate perform massive and very diverse influence on earth and mankind. They dominantly affect social and economic parts of our life.
Weather is the state of the atmosphere at a specific time and location. The state of the atmosphere is characterized by following parameters: radiation, air temperature and pressure, humidity, wind and precipitation. Terms like brightness, cloudiness, humidity, precipitation, temperature, visibility, wind and fog are used to describe the weather. Climate in contrast to weather describes the state of the atmosphere in means, as sum or variability of above mentioned parameters for a certain area over a longer time span (e.g. 30 years reference time span).
