Government
These services provide links to governmental institutions and links of interest to governments providing information on strategies or programs for the protection and sustainable use of natural resources as well as strategies to cope with climate variability and change and their various consequences for the environment and the socio-economic development.
Environmental problems like destruction of natural resources, air and water pollution or uncontrolled sewage and waste disposal will have negative effects on Morocco's development. In this context, Morocco has started an environmental initiative and approved a national environmental action plan to fight these problems. In previous years the government enacted laws on the environmental framework, on air pollution control and on environmental impact assessment.
